Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian-born singer who was born on November 21 the 21st of November, 1985 in Mission British Columbia. Carly Rae JEPSEN began playing the piano from the age of three, and was performing local talent shows as early as high school. She attended the Canadian College of Performing Arts after she graduated from highschool in Victoria. She was ranked in the Top 3 in 2007. She was a contestant as a contestant on Canadian Idol, the 5th season. Her debut album Tug of War was released in 2008 following the finale of Canadian Idol. The album was a huge success immediately and reached the top spot at the top of the Canadian Albums Chart. The year 2012 was the time she released her second studio album Kiss with the hit record Call Me Maybe. The song was a huge success it reached the top of charts across the 18 countries of the world and selling over 15 million copies. Since then, she has released three albums, won numerous awards and been nominated twice for Grammys. Carly Rae's musical career has earned her plenty of wealth.
